This is a country full of raw nature that still is close to our cities to experience. Vancouver, British Columbia, has an abundance of character and beauty to photograph every season just by walking & biking where a view is to be had in any direction. Vancouver has developed the water fronts around the city allowing cycles & pedestrian access to awesome beaches. Being a sub tropical climate, the lower mainland of Canada is a flower & bird watchers dream. All seasons presents fertile stimulation whether by Mother nature or by the prolific creative talent stewing from writers, visual artists, designers, musicians, animation, film industry, etc. to also mention the opportunity to eat foods from cultures all around the world. www.urbanspoon.com
Vancouver, British Columbia has much to offer to any one who enjoys Mother Nature at it's finest. Vancouver is growing quickly. Rent a bicycle, a limousine, scooter, or just walk the paths along the cities edge for an incredible experience of scenery and fresh air. Then stop in for a designer coffee, sushi, wine, etc in the local eateries within and along our cities edges. www.GoBC.ca
Ottawa, Ontario to gorgeous city surrounded by water and mature trees. It's a must on your travel itinerary to visit The National Gallery of Canada art museum. Expect to take at least three hours to view huge rooms of art from modern art to master painters from around the world including some Canadian Art. Leaving the art museum you are in the walking distance of Canada's Parliament buildings. Get your camera ready & your walking shoes on for a gorgeous walk with views in every direction.
Fredericton, New Brunswick has many gorgeous turn of the century homes taking you for a journey back in time. You just got to go to see Fredericton's Beaver Brook Art Gallery Museum which has a collection of Master painters & one of Dali's largest oil paintings. We recommended staying at one of the B&B Inn's within the city for the most enjoyable visit. We stayed at The Carriage House Inn which has 11 rooms & the most wonderful breakfast served in their antuique art gallery guest dining room.
Nova Scotia has so much to offer for nature and water lovers. We had recently moved from Vancouver 2010 to Nova Scotia as our visit back in 2008 proved to be on the radar for a change of life style to build our studio's and new home in Seaforth, Nova Scotia. The North side of Halifax is a surfers dream with easy access to surfer waves while the south side of Halifax has much to offer in quaint villages along the ocean edges and of course great tasting seafood stops. The best seafood chowder I have eaten & Nova Scotia famous lobster dinner is served daily at a diner just past Peggy's Cove called The Blue Nose Lobster & Chowder House. Wonderful gift shop is included within the building which I bought some well made local crafted items. Halifax city has a friendly face and small city appeal with lots of history on every corner. We stayed at another B&B Waverly Inn which has the most amazing breakfast included. This is a historical Inn with rooms filled with antiques and most excellent service.
Quebec City reminds us of Europe with its quaint buildings, shops, food stops, people watching, beautiful park gardens, etc. Quebec City will be a must for us to stay longer on our next Canadian trip.

Vancouver Street Art, Tagging & Graffiti Picture slide show
East Vancouver has an eclectic mix of creative talent. All this creative energy spills out on to the neighborhood streets created by volunteers in community projects while some of it is malicious & unsolicited. Needless to say when out walking there is some form of art everywhere to be seen if you look.
