Halifax has a historical place called The Waverly Inn that is close to everything this delightful city has to offer. Great friendly staff, gorgeous rooms, and the best breakfast I have ever had offered with a room.
On Peggy' Cove Road you must stop at the Blue Nose Lobster & Chowder House for a bowl of my best chowder feast ever and order an authentic Nova Scotia Lobster dinner. While your waiting for your food definitely pop into The Wishing Well Gift Shop that is full of wonderful handmade gifts from the local arts & crafts people. Be greeted by friendly John & Patricia Gaudet the two who own and run this great stop along your journey.

Holland, Schipluiden, Theo Hoek Brood & Banketbakkerij Bakery: We discovered this fantastic town on bikes and found this bakery full of excellent quality baked goods. We had coffee & treats served outside by the delightful proprietor. A MUST EAT HERE. No website but here is the address: Dorpsstraat 29 in Schipluiden.
